Ulysees Grant Nason, a native of Aquidneck Island, founded UG Nason’s in 1918. He started the business on 78 Callendar Avenue in Newport with his sons Joseph and Grant. From the very beginning they installed high quality furnaces, ductwork & other ventilation in addition to tin and copper roofs, downspouts and many other custom copper applications.

The business has thrived and continues to this day providing residential and commercial customers with state of the art heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) products and services that are both energy efficient and environmentally friendly. The company, with offices in Newport and Narragansett, has built on its long-standing skills in custom copper work and is sought out for this expertise by customers from around the country.
